So, I just read through Techland’s list of The Top Ten Games Of The Decade. I for one, am amazed that they managed to narrow it down so far from so many titles! Here’s the list:

10. Animal Crossing (2002)
9. Gran Turismo 3 (2001)
8. The Sims (2000)
7. Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007)
6. Wii Sport (2006)
5. Halo 2 (2004)
4. The Orange Box (2007)
3. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004)
2. Guitar Hero (2005)
1. World Of Warcraft (2004)

So what do you think? Personally, I feel number one and number two should be reversed. Guitar Hero seems to me to be much more influential than WoW, as it pretty much solidified the popularity of the music video game genre single-handed. I will admit that I may be biased due to the fact I have never actually played WoW myself. But if the guys at Techland think its the best of the decade, I suppose I should give it a try.

I myself am a nintendo kind of person, and I have to admit I was dissapointed that neither Super Mario Galaxy nor Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess were there. I think they are the best titles for the wii Nintendo has offered so far, so they had the best shot. Oh well, maybe next decade!

comments? What do you think should have been on the list?

I don’t think I need to explain that I am a fan of Google products, as it would’ve been obvious from prior posts, but for those of you running a Mac OS or or Linux the opportunity to start your chrome experience has finally arrived!

Can’t you just burst from the excitement?

From what I’ve seen, however, the version of Chrome currently available for the two operating systems is a Beta version that is not as developed as the Windows counterpart. However, I still urge you to try it. It may not replace Firefox or Safari as your primary browser, but if you need something fast, convenient, and attractive, it’s the best option. Here are some reasons why:

- It is by far the fastest browser I have worked with, and if you search around, you’ll see that most reviewers agree.

- It is great in terms of aesthetic qualities. Themes allow for easy personalization, and the screen size is not compromised by a bulk of useless toolbars.

- The functionality is impressive. You can use the navigation bar not only for URLs, but for Google searches. The tabs and windows are easily merged or divided by dragging. You can easily add a site to your favorites by clicking the star next to the URL, and a new tab allows you the option of immediately opening your most recently closed sites, or going to one of your most visited sites.

If those reasons aren’t enough to convince you, I suppose I’ll have to try again when google releases a full version. Take it from a veteran chrome user, it’ll be worth it.

So, I was reading a How-To article on Wired.com describing how to take better camera phone pictures.
Personally, I find camera phones to be the most accessible way of taking photos, simply because I am more lifely to have my phone in my pocket than mycamera. The article mentions some very obvious ideas, such as becoming familiar with your camera’s performance in different lighting situations. My camera phone has flash, but I find that it often makes pictures too bright.
The flash in my camera is actually pretty pointless. I hardly ever use it. Of course, my phone’s camera wasn’t made to take high quaklity images, but I would like it. Maybe, instead of making camera phones, we should be looking into making phone cameras. I know I would get one. I’m more likely to use my phone to take a picture than to actually call anyone.

I suppose that what I am leading up to is asking whether anyone out there has any good ideas about camera phone photography. Maybe you have some pictures to share?

I have to admit, when the word started coming out that Google was launching a revolutionary new way of communicating through the internet I was extremely curious. When I heard that the trial was to be given out by invite-only, I became desperate. I requested my invitation months ago, and was still waiting when a friend sent me a fateful text message informing me that he had recently secured an invitation.

I of course would receive an invitation from my friend. After waiting for months, I rushed to my computer immediately and logged in to wave. I stared at the blank page loading after the log-in screen. Wave finally loaded and then…

That unfinished sentence was supposed to represent my silent reaction. I was greeted by a very underwhelming white layout that resembles that of a basic social networking site. After adding a few friends to my contacts and posting a few waves I realized that I was actually dissapointed. Sure, this wave system allowed me to communicate with all my friends and add to things they have already posted, and yes, I can share e-mails, videos, and pictures, but I was already doing all that on Facebook.

I am remaining optimistic however, because this edition of wave is a trial. It was actually pretty cool, when you get down to the potential of what it can do. But after months of waiting, and all the hype about how wave was going to replace E-Mail, I couldn’t help but be dissapointed. But no worries google, I still Love your products.

I’m posting this from my Google chrome browser, after all.

I will tell you this now, just so we can be acquainted:
